What Roleget does

Roleget finds job listings from public job boards and company career pages, compares them with your resume and preferences, and helps you keep track of the roles you're interested in and the applications you make. It can also draft tailored resumes, cover letters and answers to application questions for you to review.

Roleget does not apply to jobs for you, contact employers, or act as a recruiter or employment agency. You decide what to apply for and submit every application yourself.

Your account

• You must be at least 16 to use Roleget.
• Give accurate information, keep your sign-in secure, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
• One person per account. You're responsible for what happens in yours.

Your content

Your resume, profile and anything else you add stay yours. You give us permission to store, process and display them only as needed to run Roleget for you, including sending them to the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy. Only upload content you have the right to use.

Matches and AI-written text

Ratings, match reasons, tailored resumes, cover letters and drafted answers are produced with AI and can be wrong or incomplete. Roleget checks that what it writes is grounded in your resume, but you are responsible for reviewing everything before you use it, and for making sure anything you send an employer is true.

Job listings

Listings come from third parties. We don't verify employers, and a listing may be out of date, inaccurate or already filled. Roleget can't promise that any job is real, still open, or that you will get an interview or an offer. Be careful with any employer that asks you for money or sensitive personal details.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

• Use Roleget to send unwanted messages, including job suggestions to people who haven't asked for them.
• Scrape, copy or resell Roleget or its listings, or access it by automated means other than the app itself.
• Try to get into other people's accounts or data, or interfere with how Roleget works.
• Upload anything unlawful, or content that isn't yours to share.

Price and changes to the service

Roleget is free to use today. We may add paid features later; if we do, we'll tell you before anything you use starts to cost money, and you won't be charged without agreeing to it. We may change, pause or stop parts of Roleget as it develops.

Ending your account

You can stop using Roleget at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@roleget.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk.

Disclaimers

Roleget is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Roleget is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost opportunities, earnings or data, arising from your use of the service. Because Roleget is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to US$100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Roleget's operator is based, without regard to conflict of law rules.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date above and, for meaningful changes, email you first. Continuing to use Roleget after a change means you accept the new terms.
